Abigail Salvatore has joined the Empire Center for Public Policy as communications director, Tim Hoefer, the Center’s executive director, today announced.
Salvatore, a Suffolk County native, is a 2015 graduate of The King’s College. She previously served as a press officer for state and local policy at the New York City-based Manhattan Institute.
“We are pleased to have Abigail on board to help us promote ideas for making New York a better, more affordable place to live, work and do business,” Hoefer said.
Salvatore succeeds Ken Girardin, who is moving to a full-time role as policy analyst for the Empire Center.
The Empire Center is an independent, not-for-profit, non-partisan think tank, based in Albany.
