The state Assembly and Senate spent a total of $108,569,732 between April and September 2017, according to data posted today at SeeThroughNY.net, the Empire Center’s government transparency website.
These expenses included $2.6 million in bulk postage for the Senate, and nearly $2 million for the Assembly. The Senate spent $600,923 on travel, while the Assembly spent more than $1.3 million. In total, the Legislature spent over $1.4 million on copying and printing, and roughly the same amount on telecommunications services and equipment.
