Bob Confer

Bob Confer is the president of Confer Plastics, a third-generation manufacturer that employs 170 people in facilities in North Tonawanda and Niagara Falls.

Since 2005, Bob has written a weekly opinion column that appears in the Niagara Gazette, Lockport Union-Sun and Journal, and Batavia Daily News. He serves the community as the board president of the Iroquois Trail Council which oversees the Boy Scout program in 5 Western New York counties. The 1996 graduate of SUNY Brockport lives in Gasport with his wife Bernadette and their 4 young children.
