If this rate keeps up for the rest of the year, the Transport Workers Union’s raise for the year isn’t 4 percent, but closer to 5.1 percent.
However: it’s quite possible that the federal government’s monetary and fiscal policies will create massive inflation in the next few years, anyway, so, the TWU should enjoy it while it lasts …
