Former Siena men’s basketball coach Fran McCaffery was paid $427,506 during a one-year period from June 2008 to June 2009, according to the school’s tax documents.
His salary was more than double that of Siena’s second highest-paid employee — Paul Stec, the vice president for finance and administration, who made $193,403.
McCaffery, who left Siena for Iowa this past March, received $240,000 in base compensation and $110,512 in incentives, according to the tax forms. The remaining income was listed under deferred and additional compensation.
The salary information in the tax documents covers the 2008-09 season. But it does not reflect McCaffery’s last contract with Siena…
